Dynamic Academy is a group of software professionals based in Seattle dedicated to helping both novice and journeyman programmers learn Perl and other dynamic languages. While we have no currently scheduled upcoming classes, all our materials have recently been made available for free access online.

Doug Treder is a senior software developer at Amazon.com and IMDb. Having taught over 400 hours of classroom lecture for the University of Washington, he finds teaching is his favorite way to learn. His work experience includes developing IMDb's Video and Mobile Application platform, launching Target.com, Marks and Spencer.co.uk, and Amazon's Mechanical Turk. A resume is available.
